Newborn Nights
When we brought home our firstborn, we thought we were the lucky ones...what an easygoing newborn we had! When the sun set, we had a crying, fussing, wide awake newborn. Nighttime care of your newborn can be daunting. This class was created with those first few weeks in mind. Let us help from take you from survival to success by problem solving nighttime newborn care!

Maven Birth Class
Our premier, comprehensive childbirth class is designed for pregnant women and their partners who prefer a condensed format. This in-depth, interactive 6-hour series meets on three consecutive Thursday nights or one Saturday class. The series covers a wide range of topics in-depth based on Lamaze International's Six Healthy Birth Practices, including:

Registration Information
A $15 deposit is required to hold a spot for Newborn Nights.
A $50 deposit is required for Condensed Birth classes.
The balance is due to be paid on the start of the first class session.

When should I take a maven pregnancy class?
We suggest taking our traditional or condensed Lamaze childbirth preparation classes during your 2nd or 3rd trimester. Our Newborn Nights and is a great fit anytime during your pregnancy.
What should I bring to class?
Bring yourself and your birth partner. We'd love for you to both wear comfortable clothes (you'll be sitting on the floor and doing some movement). Also, feel free to bring a pillow, a blanket, a yoga mat or a birth ball (aka fitness ball). We'll have extra props on hand to help get you as comfortable as possible. We will have light refreshments for you, but if you have special dietary needs, you might want to bring something along for you and baby to nibble on.
What happens in a]maven class?
Each session is jammed full of the latest evidence-based information available. Plan on practicing relaxation techniques and comfort measures each class. Not a note taker? That's fine. We'll be doing lots of hands-on activities, partner work, and group discussions. I'll make sure to send you home with helpful handouts each class to help you jog your memory later.
